Colonial Punk Style In Space

Welcome back to that little Corner of the Internet we like to call our blog post. This week will be a following up how History snuck into the future and changed our lives.

As you journey through the Outland 17 universe your many battles will bring you both deeper into the universe and pile loads of loot into your inventory.

The items, culture and environments you’re going to find in Outland 17 have been dubbed stylistically as “colonial punk.” Inspiration was drawn from modern earthly locations such as Japan, parts of Rome, and Italy that while fully embracing their post industrial neo-modernity globalized culture still have strong ties to the past in style and culture.

Outlanders find themselves in the same situation. Their garb and garments have the stylistic familiarity with the 16th and 17 century, but are still built with all the style and technology one might expect to find in the less than distant future.

Weapons and armor didn’t escape this fine touch either. Laser Muskets aren’t just Muskets that somehow managed to survive for a thousand years. Outland 17’s muskets are a blend of old school style and cutting edge technology that bring terror to any field of battle.
